I’m going to talk about my favourite singer : Kanye West. I think his songs are great because they make you dance, sing and feel good!

First, Kanye West is an American rapper, singer and record producer who was born on June, 8th 1977, and who grew up in Chicago (so he is 34 years old).  His father, Ray West was a member of the Black Panthers group, and his mother was an English teacher at the University of Chicago.

Then, he began his career in 1996, but after being known in 1998 with the album of Jermaine Dupri “Life in 1472”,he became the beatmaker of artists of the Roc-A-Fella Records label (like Jay-Z).

After that, Kanye West worked with a lot of other singers, like Ludacris, Scarface,  Alicia Keys, Janet Jackson, John Legend, or Kid Cudi ( he produced several of them ). In 2004, he made his first album : The College Dropout, followed by Late Registration’ (2005), “Graduation” (2007), “808s and Heartbreak “ (2008), “My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy” (2010) and “Watch the Trone” with Jay-Z (2011). I personally have the two last ones and I think they are r-e-a-l-l-y good!

Next, he also founded his own label, called GOOD music, in 2004.
