I've chosen to speak about Adele because I enjoy her songs, her style of music, her voice, her personality and her natural looking. I think that she is the most known singer in  the world at the moment. And teenagers are crazy about her !

Adele, or her true name Adele Laurie Blue Adkins is an author and singer-songwriter British born on May 5th , 1988 in North London. She began singing at four and says she began to be obsessed with the voices. Currently her style of music is more of Blues, Folk, Soul and Neo Soul.


Adele has released four albums: “Chasing pavements” released in January 2008, “Rolling in The Deep” released in November 2010, “19” (“nineteen”), released in March 2008, and her latest album which was released in January 2011 and called “21” (“twenty one”).

Adele received an Award ( for the International Song of the Year) at the NRJ music awards 2012, for her song “Someone like you” that was her most famous song this year.

My favourite songs from Adele are "Someone like you" and "Set fire to the rain".

Justine

First, I have chosen this series because it’s a new fantastic series created by Elizabeth Craft and Sarah Fain, it’s inspired by the novels of L. J. Smith. It talks about witches and demons. I think it's a very exciting and thrilling series.

Next, let me tell you about the story : Cassie Blake is a Californian teenager who goes to live with her grandmother near Chance Harbor in Salem, after the death of her mother. She discovers that she is the descendant of a line of witches, and that she and other students at school are endowed with supernatural powers. They belong to a mysterious circle which must bind so that their powers become powerful. This circle is in fact composed of the descendants from six families of witches whose powers are handed on from generation to generation. This is a band of five teenagers that will help her to discover the hidden part of her life and how to control her amazing powers.

I've chosen to speak about the Beatles because I enjoy this band! I think that it was one of the best rock bands in the world! We still sing some of their songs nowadays because they are unforgettable!

The beginning:   
First at the beginning they were only three ( John Lennon , Paul McCartney and Georges Harrison) and went round the clubs of Liverpool because they were native from there. These self-taught characters were very influenced by the American black blues and rock'n roll. Paul McCartney and John Lennon got so well; so they wrote  a lot of songs together.
     Next,  The Beatles made some shows in Hamburg and it was during one of these concerts that they met Ringo Starr.

The success:   
    First, in October 5th, 1962 “ Love me do ” was released but wasn't very well classified in the charts. But the band was OK.
    Then the album “Please please me” opened them door to success. It had been classified at the top of the charts for seven months.
     Next the Beatles became very popular in the United Kingdom. Their success is phenomenal. Beatlemania crossed the borders to invade France and the rest of Europe. Some famous songs : Can't Buy Me Love, Yesterday, A hard Day's night, Ticket To Ride, Help, We Can Work In Out...
    However the group fell apart in 1970.

First, I have chosen The Simpsons because it's a well known series and I enjoy their humor and their look.

 'The Simpsons' is an American series created by Matt Groening for the Fox Broadcasting Company. The series made its first appearance on December 17, 1989 in the USA at eight o'clock p.m on "The Fox Network," in an episode entitled “Simpson roasting on an open fire”.

Each episode consists of an average of 15,800 drawings, 20 weeks of work and the collaboration of 150 technicians.

Moreover, most of the names given to fictional characters of the Simpson Family are taken from names of the family of Matt Groening. For example : Homer and Margaret are the names of his parents.

Then, 'The Simpsons' has won dozens of awards since the beginning of the series, such as twenty-four Emmy Awards, twenty-six Annie Awards and a Peabody Award. Furthermore, the series is broadcast in 45 countries. On January 14, 2000, 'The Simpsons' received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

I've chosen  this film because I love action and science fiction movies, I think it's very interesting and captivating and above all I love special effects.

First, Inception is an action and science fiction movie which was written, directed and produced by Christopher Nolan.

Dom Cobb leads a group of extractors, they perform illegal corporate espionage by entering the subconscious minds of their targets.
Saito, a businnesman offers Cobb a job with a very valuable reward : see his family back in America.
Cobb must implement an idea in the subconscious of Robert Michael Fischer, a competitor of Saito, so that he can no longer compete with Saito.
The dreamer is sleeping near the extractors, who are asleep, and they are connected to a device that delivers a sedative to everyone.
The pain is felt, but death awakens the sleeper.
